The Entrepreneur College grew out of Dr. Dan Doyle's and Myke Howard's, passion for training, coaching and helping others. As entrepreneurs and educators themselves, it was natural to want to build future generations of trainers and coaches who wanted to run their own profitable businesses.
Most trainers are not natural entrepreneurs, rather they are creative souls. They are authors, speakers, presenters, musicians, performers, workshop facilitators, drama and athletic coaches, teachers, educators, actors, dancers, adjunct professors, media specialists, software and game developers, technicians, master craftsmen and seminar leaders who are passionate about their life calling.
Many have extraordinary talents and skills, but few have the experience or knowledge in organizing, financing, marketing, producing, promotion, publicity, operations, management and administration of the many business aspects that are the difference between being a starving artist and making a good living. Entrepreneur college graduates earn more money, report higher life satisfaction, and own more assets than people who work for someone else.
As a part of Trainers International University, the Entrepreneur College provides you with the essential skills for success in doing what you love to do - training others in your art and craft. The College puts you through real life experiences so you can turn your creativity into a profitable business that you will be very proud of.
Every trainer and coach at TiU starts out in an extension office of the Doyle-Howard Entrepreneur College where you will immediate start your own training business. After you have completed the core requirements to become a Certified Experienced Trainer, you can either remain in an extension office or can then begin the process of building your own section, department, school and/or college.
The Entrepreneur College nurtures your talents to move your passion from an idea to reality. All courses integrate learning and doing, competing, cooperating, and creating. The satisfaction of entrepreneurship comes from conceiving, articulating, advancing, and ultimately making your passion into a reality that you make money from.
The College charts your business development from idea to reality. You will hit the ground running to build a business while training others in four exploratory and experiential steps:
Step 1: Exam your dream and vision to identify more clearly who you are and what your life calling is all about. Students form teams to explore the viability of business ideas related to their own passion.
Step 2: Package, brand and market your passion while developing your business plan. Teams transform ideas into opportunities and build market, product and competitive knowledge. Students define market position, competitive advantages and outline needed resources. Students create a new venture plan and business strategies to bring their services and products to market. You will calculate pricing for your niche, and build supply and distribution systems.
Step 3: You will gain experience as a trainer and receive feedback to perfect your performance. Teams focus on fine-tuning communication and presentation skills while you are executing your business venture. Students can participate in tradeshows, negotiation sessions, situation management exercises, and other activities. Some teams may participate in intercollegiate competitions.
Step 4: You will learn how to train others to work with you and for you as a part of a team to develop your own organizational structure within the TiU system.
